We have a replicable framework for risk advisory services and financial consulting that makes the reporting process more efficient. We work in collaboration with cross-functional teams (sometimes, embedded within Model Risk Management Groups of several banks) to document models, as they are being developed, challenging assumptions, and ensuring there are no known materiality effects (of the assumptions used, model interpretation, or wrong implementation) as well as the outcomes analysis. We always keep ourselves up to date by maintaining industry-working knowledge of regulations that support effective compliance risk management.

Internal Audit and Risk Advisory

We work with process owners to understand critical activities necessary to remediate risks and ensure activities are sufficient to address the root cause of the issue. We then perform an assessment of underlying risks and associated controls – including creating test scripts and communicating and monitoring progress against key remediation milestones.

Model Validation and Risk Management

Our team of experts has validated over 156 risk management and compliance models – ranging from prepayment, market risk, liquidity, credit loan forecasting, Pre-Provision Net Revenue (PPNR), CCAR, DFAST, and Marketing Prescreen Campaign models. We prevent model risk by ensuring that models are used for their intended purpose and performing outcomes analysis (benchmarking, backtesting, sensitivity testing, etc.).

Model Documentation Review and Technical Writing

In some cases, we are embedded directly with Model development teams, to help write model documentation as models are being developed. We have helped over 25 Model Risk Management Groups have their models passed for regulatory compliance.

Research and Economic Consulting

We work with consulting firms to analyze business organizations’ economic statutes and develop workable recommendations to improve or change existing plans. By researching industry trends (including the implications of interest rate hikes, unemployment, and inflation), we can solve critical problems for your clients – be it investment decisions, financial analyses, or change management frameworks. We work directly with our clients to develop models that can predict future outcomes – as well as analyze past data to inform decisions for organizations.
